A Nebraksa man is being cited a misdemeanor animal cruelty after allegedly stuffing a kitten into his homemade bong. Twenty year-old Acea Schomaker was smoking marijuana out of his bong, when deputies saw 6-month-old Shadow trapped inside the bong. The bong is nearly the size of a shoebox and made of Plexiglass. It was taped shut so Shadow was subjected to extreme smoke. The kitten "appeared to be very lethargic, somewhat in a sleeping state,” authorities said. Further testing awaits the kitten.

Re: Man Stuffs a Cat in his Bong?
first of all, poor cat, and poor bong...
second, this reminds me of two stories. The government (I believe under the Reagan Administration) found that marijuana causes brain damage. this was because their scientific process included purring gas masks on monkeys and forcing them to breath the smoke for extended periods of time, but the didn't mix it with air, so the monkeys suffered brain damage as anyone would from suffocating or losing a steady oxygen supply to the brain. the cat must have gone through a very similar ordeal. animals should never be forced to smoke weed anyway. it's cruel, and they don't process it the same way we do. the second story was on the news a few years ago, during the winter holidays. a family had brought home their Christmas tree and found a small owl in it. it was stoned, had the munchies, and was bobbing its head.
